Simply outstanding. One of the top French restaurants in San Antonio and overall restaurants in the area. As you expect from French restaurants, this establishment is elegant, refined, and perfectly illustrates the fine dining atmosphere. It’s pricier than some of the other options in the Pearl area, but the service and food quality more than make up for it. You have plenty of French cuisine options to choose along with a very extensive list of local & international wines. It’s close to the river walk (northeast of the north side of the Riverwalk), I would definitely recommend going here.
Food was fantastic! Service was great as well! Antonio was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife and I really enjoyed our experience there. Would 100% come back.
a must on every visit to SA. bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. they also have been there some time so friendly familiar faces is nice. cold Stella on draft and cold oysters on half shell. tried quite on bit on menu over the years and can honestly say all is good food
The quality of the food, the mastery of combining sauces and ingredients, the presentation — simply at a very high level. Outstanding, incredible. The price is above average. But believe me, it’s worth it if you’re looking for a true culinary experience. The coziness and atmosphere are present as well, though nothing extraordinary — just a clean, well-designed interior. Pleasant, attentive service. World-class food. Highly recommended.
We came here very early in the evening, before a normal dinner time. The plan was to sit at the bar and have the raclette and escargot, then leave. These two items were so good, the drinks so good, the atmosphere so good, we decided to order more. This was my first time trying steak frites and it was excellent. Oysters were delicious and served correctly, with the brine still in the shell. The scallops were amazing. I'd come here often, if I lived in the area, just for the raclette and escargot. I think they were the highlight. Overall, this is probably the best restaurant I visited in San Antonio, and I will make it a point to come back the next time I'm in the area.
My hubby and I love to ride our e-bikes to the Pearl district & eat here on the patio, when it’s nice outside! We love the atmosphere, the service & the yummy food! Our server, Chris, was very friendly & attentive to our needs. This is one of our favorite restaurants!
I took my boyfriend for his birthday brunch. The restaurant was pretty quiet and able to seat us right away when we arrived. Our server was kind and attentive. The steak my boyfriend got was overcooked, which the management was quick to correct and even brought us a complimentary glass of bubbles to enjoy. The level of service is always great. The food is good, but price range is a bit high for what it is.
They do upscale the right way! I came in on a Monday afternoon in athletic leisure with my newborn baby in a stroller after discovering another restaurant at the pearl was closed on Mondays. Mon Chou Chou has always been a favorite but I wouldn’t have considered it in my attire. But I wanted a nice birthday lunch so I gave it a try. They were so welcoming opening doors directing me to the bathroom with the changing table without me asking. Amazing service at a place I would have completely expected to be judged. The food was impeccable as always. I just want to praise the restaurant for their service.
